About CROSSFIT MAD HATTER

Welcome to CrossFit Mad Hatter. We are Coach Kenny and Valerie Restrepo. CrossFit Mad Hatter has been here since 2016 and we are proud to be the new owners since April 2025. We are both Brooklyn natives who met and fell in love in 2008. We've worked together as business partners since 2011.

Kenny is a USMC Veteran, Tattoo Artist, and passionate CrossFit Coach. He recently completed his CrossFit Level 2 Certification and is responsible for all of the class planning here at CrossFit Mad Hatter. He started doing CrossFit in 2013. Kenny is a costume builder and makes most of the costumes you will see in our organization called The Humble Heroes of FDNY.

Valerie was a private investigator for 19 years, working in both covert and team management fields. Alongside that she ran the business end of the Tattoo shop in Brooklyn and obtained her 200 Yoga Teacher Training certificate. She taught yoga briefly in NYC and has a love for working with people one-on-one to achieve their personal goals.

We ran a large custom tattoo shop and art gallery in Park Slope, Brooklyn, for 11 years before deciding it was time to get out of the city and move out to beautiful Bucks County! With a love for our community and giving back, we worked together to host and organize fundraising events for various charities that were dear to our hearts, such as the Huntington's Disease Society of America, a hospital for people with HD, The IAVA, Wounded Warriors Project, and other Veteran based organizations.

We became part of an organization called The Humble Heroes of FDNY. We dress up as super heroes and visit sick and disabled children in hospitals, schools, and summer camps. When we moved out here Kenny quickly began a new chapter of PA members. If you're interested in learning more about our group please contact us!

We love our community and look forward to getting to know more about you!
